Overclocking an Intel Core-i5 2500k

Hello, I have an Intel core-i5 2500k ..........i heard that it is good for overclocking.......bt i don't know how to overclock........my mobo is ASUS P8 Z77 VLK.........so i want to overclock my gpu from 3.3 GHz. to 3.5 GHz. as my PC doesn't have any cooler .............another question........will overclocking increase my gaming speed? and will the overclocked results be shown in my computer properties and will it increase my windows experience index rating? thanks.........in advance.........

You need a good cooler like the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo if you want to overclock. Otherwise your components could hit VERY high temps. You have to go into the BIOS when you boot the computer. It's a complex procedure by adjusting your volts and multiplier until you hit the limit that your CPU can go to. You're not going to see a massive FPS increase by just 0.2 GHZ (if any), especially if it is a GPU-intensive game.
