My mobo is the GA-Z77X-D3H rev 1.1. On the Gigabyte website it says to reflash the latest BIOS before updating the audio driver, I have attempted to download the latest version (F18i) from the site but it will not let me install it because I have a 64bit OS.

Is there something I'm missing here? Does that mean I can't use the latest driver because of my OS? I have had to download older versions of the audio driver but it causes problems with my USB drivers, I think it is some sort of compatibility issue between the drivers. So I just want the latest version of everything, how do I get the latest version of the audio driver?

Flashing your Bios does not interfere with your OS. You need to download an utility so you can flash your Bios from inside OS, but if you can't find any utility, you need to research flashing from a usb pen drive.

I just click on the download thing and then extract which leaves me 3 files, autoexec, Efiflash and Z77XD3H.18i. When I click on the first 2 they say that they are incompatible with my 64bit OS, the other is listed as a 18I file and doesn't open?
