I have recently built a gaming system (first build). Been working fine I did cable management 3 days ago (been using it every day since) and I have noticed x2 sparks around the 24 pin motherboard cable over the last 2 days. One of the times it happened I was playing a game -the sound and the game image repeated itself almost like lag for about 5 seconds then everything seemed okay. I have not noticed any other issues.

I also changed the stock cooler fans to Noctua NF-A14 Industrial PPC 140mm 2000RPM PWM Fan x2,

What should I do?

Do you think permanent damage has taken place from a couple of sparks?

I am not sure what is causing it does anyone have any suggestions?
I fear I may have pulled some cables too hard when I was doing the cable management could this cause the issue?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Solution
Please provide your full system specs, including the brand and model (not just wattage) of the PSU.
Re-check and make sure nothing is loose, including that individual wires didn't pull out while you were doing your cable management.
