I am a first-time builder and I think I ran into my first compatibility issue. I really like Kingston's Beast memory modules, ordered the 1600mhrz 16GB (2x8GB) set but have yet to open it.
I have a Storm Stryker case...really wanted the ETS-40-W White Cluster heat sink to go along with the overall aesthetic but now i'm not sure if I can have both fit on a Z97 mobo (yet to order).
I only have 2 sticks, and I think the priority banks are located away from the CPU...do you think an ETS-40-W with the forward facing fan will eat up 2 DIMM banks on a Z97-A? I searched the net but found no clear pics/explanations.
