Hello guys, I am going to switch to watercooling and i was wondering if my PSU will be powerfull enough for my full system. Here is what i have atm:
- i7 3770 @3.4 GHz
- 1x Sapphire Radeon R9 280X Dual-X
- 2x Kingston DDR3-1333 (667 MHz) 4GB (8GB total)
- Mobo ACER Aspire M3985
- HDD Seagate Barracuda 1TB Sata-III
- Optical drive, a random DVD-/+ RW
- 8 USB 2.0 and 4 USB 3.0
- PSU Thermaltake Berlin 630w

Now, i ordered the Corsair 750D case and the Corsair H100i water cooling. My question is, will this PSU be powerfull enough for this system? Am i running at the border between f-ing up the hardware and not? Will i be able to do some overclocking? I need some oppinions. Thank you guys in advance, Jijix.

Yheres a really good air cooler that works better than any of the premade liquid coolers. But that one should be fine just make sure it stays under 90c. 80c is best. But the overclocking, and 2 graphics, eh, you might want to get a stronger power supply

Edit. Sorry i missread. You only have one graphics. you might be okay with that power supply.

If you do overclock. Make sure you have someone who knows what there doing or read up and make sure you know what your doing. Like really make sure. Dont want to burn it up. I have the same cpu and plan on overclocking in the near future.
That cpu has a base clock of 3.4 boost to 3.6 i belive.

No such thing as overpowered. The psu will only deliver as much power as the system needs. The problem with the TR2 series is they are made od very cheap components, this leads to many issue like high ripple, poor voltage regulation, subpar or missing safety circuits, inability to provide anything close to its rated wattage. The TR2 series is also know to damage other hardware when they fail. I have seen a few TR2s completely wipe out a system when they failed.

It's a tier 2 PSU.
