What the best thing to do with my old SSD?

My new SSD will have my OS on it. I want to use my old SSD as just a storage drive for games, so whats the best thing to do if I just want it deleted? Shall I just quick format?
It has my old win 7 install on it, plus games Apps and stuff. Shall I just quick format or secure erase using Samsung software?

yes. Format it. Full format. Not quick erase. Right click on its partition and hit format.

Format works .... I have had rare issues with quick format so usually do full format.

I thought doing full format on SSD's is a really bad thing to do to them? (we are supposed to do quick format option only no?).

You'll also have the choice of whether to do a “quick” or “full” format. The primary difference between the two is that a full format will look for bad sectors on the drive, which is an issue for traditional spinning disk drives and not for SSDs. Therefore, the quick format should suffice, though a full format would do no harm either.

Use the manufacturers secure erase utility so the drive gets zero-filled and will maintain full speed. Then let windows format it.
