Hey guys, so I'm building my very first computer. I have all of the components hooked up to the mobo (correctly) and in the case. I plug it in, turn on the I/O switch, press the power button, and my PSU just does a slight buzz for half a second and shuts off. Nothing else happens. I'm assuming that because nothing else lights up or anything, that there's something wrong with my power. But a couple days ago I had mismatching components hooked up (970a-g46 + FX 8350) and the PSU seemed to be working. Also, whenever I hit the power button, it causes a lamp to flicker (its plugged into a multi-plug outlet). Can anyone shed some light on why this could be happening? Or any tips for the future?
