Looking nice or performing nice

Well, its easier to say if we have the full system specs.
It also comes down to opinion. I would rather have a rig that performs well, then make it looks pretty as time goes on (Thats what I did with mine, 430 elite>300r. Case fans>led fans. No lighting>cathodes.)
 
Kinda like asking me if ya should have carrots instead of broccoli as the vegetable choice in a restaurant .,... your tastes and performance goals are likely different than mine. You should choose what pushes your button snot mine.

A fill modular PSU does nothing for you tho. What is the point of having cables that you absolutely must use modular. The "best of both worlds" is semi modular or hybrid modular where the absolutely necessary cables are hard wired and the optional ones are modular. In fact, modular connectors add a bit of resistance, decrease efficiency a tiny bit, add cost and introduce a possible failure point.
