In march I built my first PC! YAY! :p But I built it for video editing and gaming AND recording my games for YouTube... the issue is i'm getting quite the lag, and if not lag, the jitters. My recordings don't come out very nice and it bothers me. So I recently got a job, and now am thinking of investing $450 <-max into a new cpu, So i'm doing some light video editing and recording of games (mostly minecraft). So should I get an i7 4790K or an i5 4690k. To be honest I wouldn't mind going a bit cheaper on it, So could the i5 handle it? or would an i7 be more suited for my needs.

(ps I know it's not the GPU giving me lag because minecraft uses very little of the GPUS power, and for some reason I can record Grid Autosport on high settings (45 FPS) (multi-core?))

And please dont give me the answer that my FX 6300 is good enough for recording in 60 fps 1080p because it cant unless all my render distances are at 8 chunks (minecraft)

Thanks!

Even if I'm not so much focused on editing? (ps i've seen the i5 4690 (non=k) beats the 8350 in encoding video) What if im more focused on recording.?

like skyrim, goat sim., Minecraft, Battle Block Theatre, spelunky, JC2, Assassins creed?

Well i guess what I want to know is will an i5 4690k suffice for recording gameplay and Light editing? (remember i tried editing with the fx 6300) <--(never try) or will the extra $80 or so dollars be worth it?
