Hello! I have a laptop. It won't turn on. Recently I accidentally put the charges of my non-default charger wrong (negative instead of positive, positive instead of negative). The laptop suddenly turned off and after that would turn on only for a few seconds, then shut down instantly again. I guess some diode went off or the whole think is dead. The voltage wasn't too high, it was only reverse.

Please, answer me, is it repairable? Is it a big damage or only few diodes?

Solution
I'll suggest attempting a reset here, remove battery and power adapter from laptop then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Put battery back in, plug in adapter, attempt to start.
It's possible that a poly-fuse 'blew' and it'll take some time to reset itself so if the reset doesn't work right away, wait about 8 hours and try again (I would think that'd be long enough)
