can i install only 1 ram memory that's worth 8b ? (not 4*2 ) on the ASROCK G41C-GS

No, each slot supports only 4 GB max, so for 8 GB total you have to install 2 x 4GB modules.

Additionally, ASRock recommends you use two dual-sided modules (ie memory chips on both sides of module).

Not with latest bios 1.40 (thats what ASRock says..). May be with a modded bios ... but i can´t find any yet ..

If you have the chance (from a friend) try it with a double sided 8 GB memory, sometimes its not like they say. I have a Asus notepad and they say max memory 4GB, and its working with a 8GB memory stick with latest bios (Not a modded one). So, as you can see.. sometimes we have to give it a try with one from a friend (NOT BUY ONE).
