My new ASUS ROG Matrix Platinum Geforce GTX 780 Ti arrived today in the mail. Extremely excited as it wasn't meant to be here until next week. Anyhow I have removed my old graphics card and installed this geforce. Not my computer wont load at all ... its the worst feeling !

This is what im running..

Gigabyte X79-UD3 Mootherboard

Intel i7 3930K cpu

Coolermaster extreme power 725w PSU

My old graphics card I replaced was a sapphire ATi HD 7950 OC edition

I uninstalled the old drivers before i powered down my system to insert new card.

I inserted new card and it clicked into motherboard. I inserted the 2 x 8pin power cables from my PSU into the new asus card.

Turned on the PC and I get the gigabyte ad screen where it says press F12 for this and press DEL for bios etc.... But then it goes to a blank screen with the little flashing DOS symbol in the top left of screen and just sits here.

PS when im in the gigabyte screen, the key commands dont work to open bios etc.....

ANY IDEAS D: ?!!?!?!

Reset your BIOS to defaults. Make sure you did not inadvertently loosen your keyboard connector when you disconnected your monitor from the old card.
You say you removed the old card's drivers... Another possibility is that before the new card's drivers kick in, it runs by default at its 3D clock speeds, and pulls more power than your pseudo-PSU can provide, crashing your system at that point. The CM "Extreme" line is near junk that is not good for its label, and may wander out of spec when loaded.
