current spec:core 2 duo E7400
GT220 1GB DDR3
4GB RAM

if i change cpu fx 6300 + gt220 or core 2 duo e7400 + R7 260X will get better performance?

Solution

Get the video card first, just make sure your power supply can run it.

Then upgrade the CPU. If you go from the E7400 you will need to replace the motherboard as well as the CPU and possibly the RAM if you have DDR2 now. You may be able to upgrade to a quad core CPU that's at 3 gig for a CPU upgrade and keep the same system aside from the faster video card.
It depends on the program you are trying to run. Any game that is more gpu dependent, the core 2 duo with the 260x will probably perform better. That 220 will severely bottleneck that 6300, more so I'd say than the core 2 duo to the 260x, but neither situation is preferable. Can you wait on the upgrade and do both at once at a later time? Otherwise, you're not really getting a great upgrade in either direction.

If I had to recommend one though, I'd say the 6300 since you will get to a more modern platform that will be capable of upgrades the next few years vs the core 2 duo with the 260x since by the time you upgrade your platform, the money spent on the 260x now could buy a much better performing card that would better suit the whole new platform for the same money at a later date.

ya I just get new problem which my power supply already demaged and I change new power supply.brand Apple Green Extreme power supply, normal 220-250watt,MAX 500 watt to its ok that I use R7260X?

That does not seem like a real power supply brand, is that what it states on the label? What brand/model of computer do you have?
Just by going by the fact it's a brand I never heard of, it's probably not a power supply I'd use with a good video card, especially with a low 250 watt normal load rating.
