it is always recommended to get a tier 1 or 2 psu they use energy more efficiently and are much less likely to burn your house down.

As far as GPU I'd go with a 750 ti or a 270 if you can afford it. I recently downgraded to a 750ti twin frozr while waiting for the 880 and really like it. it plays most games on high with a few exceptions, runs really cool, and overclocks better than any card I've ever had.

please do. because when i went to the store they suggested the cougar spike for my build. i would really appreciate if you explain.

The Cougar spike uses an ancient case design with the PSU on top. This means, no matter what, that the cable management will be AWFUL and will block airflow a bit. It also means that the PSU will be sucking hot air from the CPU, instead of cold air from outside the bottom of the case. This case layout also put the GPU much closer to the bottom of the case which limits its airflow.

Generally people that work at stores are WAY less educated than us here and cannot give you good recommendations.

I would no do this. You will be stuck with an FM2 motherboard which has NO upgrade path at all and you will quickly outgrow the 750k. I strongly recommend sticking with the 6300.

Tiny is right about the lack of upgrade path. The more i consider it it's probable not a good idea. stick with the 6300. even with a 260x you will still be able to play any game out there and will have much more room to expand.

BitFenix Merc Alpha is also a good choice.
