Does it make sense to go ahead and buy a new case?

By the end of the year, I plan to get another GPU, a bigger water cooler, and more fans. I may do a few other smaller things as well. Right now, I have the money to buy the case and the extra fans. In a few months, I'll have enough to buy the GPU and the water cooler. If I got the case, I would want to go ahead and put all of my stuff in it, and sell my old case. Should I wait and do it all at once? Or, is it normal to do one thing at a time? I might buy something early if I see it on sale.

If you have your plans set out, it's fine to buy them at intervals. But you would be wasting your return time period because you can't test if something is DOA. Best to buy them all at once.
