So, I recently (as in today) finished building my new system, but have noticed severe mouse lag after installing a fresh copy of Win7 Pro.
Gigabyte z97x Gaming 5
4x2 - gig sticks Corsair XMS3 1333Mhz
Intel I5 4670K Haswell - stock cooler (what, you wanna fight about it?)
PNY GTX760 Enthusiast Edition
EVGA Supernova 650W 80+ Gold Standard
Samsung EVO 250 gig SSD
For a mouse, I'm using a Logitech M510 with the Unifying Reciever.
Steps I have tried:
Windows Theme settings
Nvidia graphics panel settings
Mouse drivers (ALL of them)
Ram settings
Core settings (don't ask about the last few, some other forums have out of this world solutions)
It seems that this lag (mouse skipping when moving from one place to the other) is caused when (about 80% of the time) the processor is under load. It is odd though, because it happens when i literally have nothing open and no memory hungry programs running in the background..
And yes, for pete's sake, I have checked the batteries in my mouse.
Any help?
