Iam going in to game development next year, and would like to know if you need a beastly PC to do the work? i heard that you need an extremely strong PC for that line of work and was wondering if it is true, if it is true, could you give me a recommended build?

Depending on the quality of the game. If you're making the next Battlefield 4 all by yourself, then get like a E5-2670 and FirePro W9100. If you're making a MMORPG with a lot of self-created pictures and stuff, you'll need a i7 and R9 295X2. If you're doing flappy bird, I suppose a i3-4360 and GTX 750 Ti would suit your needs.
