After installing the new Comodo Internet Security I had some major driver issues on my Dell pc, causing my computer to BSOD even in safe mode. So what I did was boot up with Hirens boot cd and used rawcopy to copy the drive that is having these problems so I have a full backup before I go in and manually start poking around the registry and filesystem with mini xp to remove Comodo. After making my 1:1 copy of the drive onto the external, I attempt to access my important files in my user folder so I can access my documents. It tells me I don't have permission to do so, and it tells me I can gain full permission by pressing continue. After I do that the progress bar keeps loading until it hangs almost at the end.

I have tried taking over ownership of the folder and the progress bar still hangs at the end, so I don't actually get to access my files. I ended up removing the password from my user account, tried formatting and making another copy, tried messing with the permissions even tried a different computer to test the external with and still can't access them.

I have alot of important files on this hard drive so that is why I just wanted to make a full copy right now before I attempt to fix the faulty pc. Can anyone explain how I can make a full copy of the files and be able to access them from a different computer?
