How do i know can my Motherboard http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M2NE_SLI/ take a new (512MB or More) video card? (GPU)

Hi, People I have one litlle question, i bought a Low end Pc and i wana to know can i take a new GPU in it... 512MB or more.
My PC spec:
CPU: AMD athlon 64 x2 3800+ 2,4 GHz
RAM: 2GB
Motherboard: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M2NE_SLI/
GPU: NVidia GeForce 6600
PSU: Bestec 300W...
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit

Video card RAM has nothing to do with motherboards. If your motherboard has a PCIe slot and your power supply can provide enough power - then you can pretty much plug in whatever you want.

I suggest you take a look at GT 740 (only the 1GB GDDR5, and NOT the DDR3 2/4GB version), GTX 750. Any more expensive card wont be productive for you, because your CPU is very outdated.

any GPU should work, but any modern one will need a much bigger power supply. Any modern GPU will be bottlenecked by your older AM2 processor though.

u can buy PCI Express cards go for nvidia they are low in power consumption if u lokking for high end models no use tey upgrading ur pc i have been using gt210 its good for normal gaming and its cheap
