After upgrading my 3100 to W7 I want to upgrade the video. An internet search for compatible cards led me to the Jaton Video-339PCI-HLX. I ordered one online. After removing the 3100 cover it looks like the video is integrated into the mb. I've seen articles where people have upgraded their 3100 video so I'm confused. I hope I'm not sol with a dud purchase. Any instructions on how to replace the video are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Install the new card in a PCI slot and hook up monitor to it and then power on and see if it gives you a signal. If not hook monitor back to the integrated graphics port and go into BIOS and attempt to disable on-board graphics, then try the Jaton again.

Install the PCI video card into the PCI slot, enter the bios and change the primary graphics to PCI. This will disable the onboard video.
