Motherboard help!! currently in building process

I'm building my pc right now.
when i looked at my motherboard theres 7 mounting points. but in my case theres 9. is that a problem? thanks

no it isnt. mobos vary in size and your case can obviously accomodate even bigger mobos. so, you must use 7 standoffs for the 7 mounting points!

but my case doesn't have the right holes to put the mounting points in. do i have to drill holes?

you have an ATX full tower case and anATX mobo. that means no compatability issues! look carefully. any mobo installed in that case has vertical orientation sitting on the inside of the right side of the tower (on the top left corner). refer to any mobo / tower manual if you are still confused. you dont have to drill or modify anything!
