System Wont Turn On Brand new

So I have recently put my new build together, and for some reason it wont turn on at all.

I have a

Thermal LEvel 10GT White Edition
Z97-G45 Mother Board
Saphire R9-290 4GB GPU
Intell i7 4770k @ 4.0 GHz
2 8GBS Gskill Ram
160 GB SDD
XFX PRO 850W Black Edition Single Rail Power Supply with Full Modular Cables ATX 850 Energy Star Certified Power Supply, P1850BBEFX

I have tried multiple options, and I think I just got a bad psu.

I have installed everything correctly (I Think).

Gpu to Psu
Motherboard to psu with 24pin and 8pin
Drive to psu (Sata to mother board)
SSD to psu (Sata to mother board)

The Power leds are correct I thnk, I read the manual, and did it that way,

nothing on the board comes on?? is the psu on and running? seems like if there was any power to the board it would atleast give a fan or something a little bump

you may have the power on switch from the case to the board plugged up wrong inspect all them .. I like this to be the issue
you may get a multi meter and check things out [$5-15 at wal mart] don't know what kind of fan set up in the psu but I guess you can see if its spinning ?

one thing I forgot is that the case switch maybe broke remove the switch led from the header and take a small screwdriver of something to short the two legs [should only take a quick bump] and see if it starts .. if so the its the case switch

The psu doesn't come on, when I press the switch on the front of the case

Thats not a bad PSU at all. Its a Tier Two Class A PSU,you can check it here: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html .XFX,Seasonic and Antec make pretty good PSUs. Its either that you haven't plugged in your cables good or there's not enough watts to power up your PC.

if the card requires 1-6 pin and 1- 8 pin you have to have them booth hooked up
