The best way to decide on mechanical keyboards is first to look at what switch you want, then look at whats available with those switches.

Brown and Blue are both very good typing switches. You will probably have less mistakes initially with blues but the extra clicking just seems like it would be really annoying to me.
Personally I would go with browns, but they are the closest to reds which are my favourite switch.

If you are looking for a good mechanical gaming keyboard, the 'Razer Blackwidow' is for sure one of the best. It has a 10 key rollover, a USB port, braided cables, 5 additional macro keys (which are extremely useful) also has a gaming mode.
You can pick these up pretty cheap on eBay etc.

If you want the BlackWiddow, get one of the older models that use Cherry MX switches. Razer just started making their own switches, and while they may be good, they haven't been on the market long enough to really know.

I highly recommend the Ducky Shine 3 with Brown switches, this thing is amazing, The BlackWidow as a general bad build quality comparing to other keyboards on the market.

My usual mechanical keyboard recommendations are anything from Ducky, Das or the Cooler Master QuickFire range, Corsair K65 or K70, the Gigabyte Osmium or the Logitech G710+. Razer tend to be hit or miss with their peripherals. After that you need to decide if you want backlighting, tenkeyless, what type of switches and whether you want macro keys.
