Hi all,

I have recently formatted an Asus UX32VD ultrabook, which ships with a 500GB HDD and 32GB SSD for cache.

When I went to install Intel Rapid Storage, it claims my system does not meet the requirements, despite there being the correct partition arrangment and BIOS ATA set to AHCI.

What gives?

Do you need to install driver first? (F6 or RAID)? ... do you really need it? I've heard mixed stories on benefits (both single and RAID).

Is it possible that you are wanting Intel Rapid Start instead? It would make sense on a small SSD and a large spinner.
