Dual headed molex connector into a 6 pin pci-e?

I'm sorting out the power for my graphics card (Radeon R9 280x), going into a Corsair CX 600W. The connectors that came with the PSU are two 6-pin pci-e with multiple heads (one's been used on the HHD, SSD and DVD writer). The card's molexes are dual headed, meaning they are connecting into the 6 pin pci-e twice. My worry is that the molexes have 6 cables, the pci-e has 4. I would assume it would have 5 (since the molexes have 2 grounded wires iirc). Will this matter at all? The gfx's 6 pin and 8 pin are connected separately, for what it's worth. Thanks for any help!
