Hello,
As a first time builder/buyer am searching for options locally regarding buying a somewhat Custom PC. I am looking in purchasing a PC from a local independent company. They offer a program where they have a three(ish) stage setup.
Basic Include:
Asus H series mobo,
Intel I3-I5-I7
Western Standard Ram option, (SSD& Mechanical)
Dvd Reader
PSU
And other odds and ends on demand.
Upon talking to a gentleman there, He said they use an i7-4670 CPU @ 3.4Ghz ?
Upon researching, I discovered that this CPU is in fact a "Notebook CPU"?
Upon researching, I found a model i7-4760hq on the intel website, as a "Notebook CPU"
My questions are, Is this infact a Notebook cpu, or am I missing something, and if so what are the benefits and weaknesses in using this.
I have searched on Newegg, Partpicker ect but cannot come up with very much documentation regarding this issue, and am wondering if this is in fact a good option to go with.
If any more Info is needed, please let me know.
