Hello. I'm trying to install Windows XP on my second Hard Drive. I built a PC about a year ago and am now looking to dual boot Windows XP with Windows 7. I have 7 on my first HDD and want to install XP on the other one.

So, I'm having the exact same issues as this person:
http://en.kioskea.net/forum/affich-118712-blue-screen-while-trying-to-install-xp

I'm able to boot up the Installation CD and it is able to get to the Windows is loading files screen or whatever it says. Then it goes to Windows is starting up and immediately just blue screens. So, I'm looking at the best solution on that thread and I'm having issues trying to figure out how to follow it. I'm able to get into my BIOS Settings, but I have no idea where to find the stuff he's talking about. I took some photos for you:

1 That's the main screen of my BIOS. As you can see I changed it so that my CD takes priority over the HDD when booting up my PC.

2 That's when I click the MSI Mainboard Settings tab.

3 That's when I click the advanced tab.

Any idea where I can find the stuff in the solution on the thread I linked you?

And I don't know if this helps, but here are my PC specs:

Intel Core i5-3550P
AMD Radeon HD 7870
16GB DDR3 RAM
2 x 1TB HDD
1 x 24" monitor
1 x 21" monitor

And my motherboard.

Why? Because, personally I'm a gamer and I find that a lot of older games do not work properly on Windows 7. Now, are you able to help me or not?

@Saint:
- disconnect your Win7 drive
- remove 12gb of RAM
- make sure you're installing SP3
- good luck finding drivers

Uh... Well, it's actually SP2. But, I know I'm able to update to SP3 when it's installed. It also won't be too big an issue to get drivers. I'm pretty sure I can do this without messing with the hardware inside my PC... I need to find out how to do what the answer suggests in the thread I linked in my original post.

I am not sure SP2 will work at all with AHCI setup. 16gb memory for sure will create troubles. At least you could try lowering your memory while installation.
