Howdy great peeps,

At the moment I have a Carbide 300r case, OFFICIALLY the H100i does not fit in it, unless doing some modification on the aliminium on the top of the case.
OR, alternatively, fins a pair of good slim/thin fans, and that is why I am here.

Just want a recommendation about 2 good, high CFM slim/thin 120MM fans.
(Noise/loudness or cost does not bother me)
So it will fit without any modification to the case & juuust fit above the RAM & motherboard heatsink.

Hoping for a quick response of all your great peeps that helped me out countless times & much greetings,
Mike

Hi,

I have that same case it fits with stock fan no need to change fans for different one`s they can be a little loud but they move more air then most others. The great thing about the 300r is you can push the mesh top out a little if you are having problems with space which I did, cant be noticed at all and you will find the pipes will not fit off the rad if you put them the side of the rear exhaust they obstruct the fan but you can put them the end of the drive bays and just have your dvd drive in the second or third drive bay.

I never had to take the top off to make it fit, I fitted the rad to the mesh and then tried to slide a fan in at which point there was quite a lot of cursing as i had read that it fitted on the net. after making a cup of tea I come to the idea of pushing the mesh out a little as it was only tight but about a mm. I was going to post a picture but it won`t let me
