asus vg248qe problem..trying to set refresh rate

I just bought the asus vg248qe..I've been trying to set the hz to 144..Its detecting a generic pnp monitor and its set on hardware default settings(no other option)..any downloads I need? I just need help getting it to 144hz

In it's website states it comes with the following:

Accessories
Dual-link DVI cable
Audio cable
Power cord
Quick start guide
Support CD
Warranty Card

Check it's support CD to see if there's some drivers in it.

EDIT:

in this link http://www.asus.com/us/Monitors_Projectors/VG248QE/HelpDesk_Download/

select your OS and then "Others", there's a driver in there listed for your monitor.
