So I got my second 780ti and my new PSU (evga 1000w g2) and i redid all the cables and whatnot and then i install my second 780ti and hooked up my sli bridge i got from my asus z87a mobo and i boot up my pc and look into nvidia control panel and it didnt show anything to do with SLI or see my second gpu, i was confused because the gpu is on and the fan is spinning. i then checked to see if the card itself worked and after having to replug it in a few times in the first slot i saw it was working just fine so i just simply put my older 780ti in the second slot and hooked up bridge. still doesnt work, so i tried putting the bridge on a different to see if it made a difference, still nothing, then i read on the internet to see if my computer can see the second gpu without a bridge and it still doesnt, my nvidia drivers are up to date and same with bios (just built my rig a month ago)
if it helps, my specs are
asus z87a mobo
core i7 4770k
16gb ddr3 corsair vengeance pro
2x gtx 780ti (trying to get second one to work)
evga 1000w g2 psu
2tb seagate sshd

hmmm, so both cards work properly alone. Have you tried the 2nd pcie slot with only one card?

Yes i have, got nothing, i figured if you want the gpu to work you have to get the first slot filled before moving on with others

might be a bad mother board, i had a similar issue with mine but mine wont turn on at all once 2 card are in place. but every single slot works with a single GPU. i triend everything from PSU to putting each individual card on each slot and all slot function well. finally i change the MoB and it all work.
