I have a AMD E-300 APU CPU Processor as seen in the title and I would like to know what CPU I can upgrade to. Is their a restriction on what I can upgrade to and does the motherboard have anything to do with whatever I can upgrade to? Thanks.

Really. I searched it up and it only appears in laptops xD IDK. It says it has an ft1 socket type so I'd assume that you're mobo is that. You'd probably need to get a new mobo then if you want to upgrade you CPU. I can help you choose which mobo/cpu if you'd tell me your budget and what you'll use it for.

Oh yeah is this a prebuilt? If you could link me the model that'd be great too.

Are you looking to game or just do office work? You can get a brand new computer for $250 just for school/office work

I'm gonna assume its an office PC as thats what it says. I'll just provide a build. Unless you're willing to give me specs such as case dimensions etc.

Yes, I have a budget of $450 and it is a prebuilt pc don't know what I could get out of it check it out http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Yeah, that's one of those little mini towers with laptop components inside of a case to make it look like it has more power than it really does...

$450 isn't a bad little budget for a new computer, what are you looking to do with it? Why the processor upgrade anyway?

Well I am looking to game so if there is anything out their better than what I already have at a budget of $450 that would be great if you could hook me up. Btw I have had this pc for several years now and just got into pc gaming a few months ago just fyi.

There's a compatibility issue with that, it says that the case does not have a front usb 3.0 port
