I'm having problems setting up Intel Smart Response Technology. My setup:
Asrock Extreme4 z87 Mobo
Seagate 2TB HDD (What I want to accelerate)
Sandisk 120GB SSD (The Caching Drive)
I set the SATA mode in the BIOS to RAID mode and installed Windows 8.1 on the HDD. Then after install I plugged in the SSD and installed Intel Rapid Storage Technology.
It doesn't pick up my SSD and the Accelerate tab is missing (Shown)
Where the ATAPI drive is obviously my DVD Drive
Both drives are detected on Disk Management (Shown)
From what I'm aware Intel SRT is supported on Z87 motherboards so I don't really understand why it's not working. I attempted a fix someone else suggested, creating 200MB of unallocated space on the HDD but this had no results.
