Whenever I press the power button (both on the case and on the motherboard itself) nothing happens. Fans don't spin, case LED's don't light up, monitor doesn't pick up a signal (tried both GPU- GTX780 and motherboard HDMI output) I've done everything on this thread (http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-ste...) I can't seem to figure what is wrong.
Specs are:
Mobo: Asus Maximus Hero VII
CPU: i7 4770k
PSU: Corsair 750 (non-modular)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1x8gb 1600mhz
GPU: EVGA GTX 780 SC (reference card body/casing)
Case: NZXT H440

Note: This might be part of the problem: When I first built the pc, the motherboard was an MSI z87-gd65 but it had a corrupt bios and I ended up asking for a refund and buying the asus one. Maybe it has permanently damaged either the cpu or the psu? I wouldn't know.

Thank you for reading, and please help me.

Do you have the 24 pin connector plugged into the mobo?

Do you have the 6/8 pin connector plugged in by the CPU ?

Both connectors are plugged in. And the motherboard LED's are on when the PSU is on.

Figured out the problem. It's an MSI mobo lol. Got a refund, bought an asus mobo instead.

Yeah I got tired of waiting, especially if I was going to have to RMA it for a few weeks. Just ran to the store.
