Hi, I am trying to build a pc only for light usage such as browsing, watching movies or using microsoft words, excels, etc, and maybe some light gaming. I am wondering whether do I still need to buy a gpu for this processor and motherboard?

I would prefer a higher resolution display preferably about 720p if possible or even 1080p. I'm not sure whether the integrated graphics card will be able to pull it off or how much resolution it can bring out because I'm really trying to be budget here. Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated!

It should be able to support 1080p, since the mobo specifications say this:

- Supports HDMI with max. resolution 4096 x 2160 @ 24 Hz / 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz
- Supports DVI-D with max. resolution 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz
- Supports RGB with max. resolution 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz

When it comes to gaming is different, but yeah the iGPU is good for light gaming.
The 750ti is a cheap low power consumption GPU with good performance in case you need a little more.

Hi, I'm using this mobo at the mo. Finished building it in July. And yup it'll work fine, out of the box (the CPU).

No separate vidcard required. It's currently connected to a 24' TV 1366x768 resolution, (that's because it's HD ready, NOT full HD). Via the HDMI connection

I didnt realise this, but the CPU also supports Wireless display. According to the Intel site. And I only just noticed this morning, there is a widi audio entry in device manager. So I may get an Intel wireless adapter and something like the PTV3000. Since it looks like this is the cheapest one to get (this is what you need for the wireless display). The CPU worked out of the box (on the mobo I purchased). Didn't have to update the BIOS, before I could use it

At the mo, its running on an Samung Evo 250 GB SSD.
