Intel Core i5-4460

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL11D-8GBXL

Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 DVI-I/DVI-D/HDMI/DP Dual-X OC Version (UEFI) PCI-Express Graphics Card 11221-00-20G

GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Corsair Builder Series CX 600 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS (CX600)

And are there any parts I should change?
(I wanna stay below my $1000 budget)

Yep. PSU is tier 3 though and honestly IMO its trash. Its a office build psu and should not be paired with high quality components. Go with a Antec, XFX, or Seasonic PSU

Yes, in fact it will run most, if not all games at their highest settings. I agree with tempered though, get a better PSU. Tier list for reference

Erm... You guys were so focused on that PSU that you didn't realize that the OP has chosen an AM3+ motherboard with an Intel CPU. @OP you will need a motherboard with the LGA1150 socket, not AM3+.

Oh my Lord I'm also blind. LOL. I completely missed the fact that he paired Intel w/ AM3+ as well. But the Mobo that DroneDroneDrone link will do fine.

But to be fair its perfectly fine getting all fussed over the PSU since its the one component that can fry everything else in a single second.

Umm...Thats an AMD board with an Intel socket 1150 CPU...Not going to work there. Grab a different motherboard, and that PSU is absolutely fine. 600 watt Corsair more than enough for that build and Corsair has an excellent warranty on all their products. Customer service is top notch and never had issues with them. Also good choice on your R9-280x. It's the same card as a HD 7970 and has tons of overhead room for overclocking. Use the latest 14.7 driver paired with BF4's mantle and you're golden. Wouldn't go overboard on multi-sampling anti-aliasing though. Just a forewarning there, but otherwise everything looks good.
