Hi,
I am planning on building my first PC and really am stuck on which mobo to go with. I know I want to use either Asus or Gigabyte but thats about it. These are some of the parts I plan to use:
Intel i5 4670k
8 gb 1600mhz ram
xfx radeon r9 280x
corsair 750W psu 80+ bronze
corsair 300r case

Will be using it for alittle bit of gaming, movies, browsing, ect.

Thanks!

Go with the Gigabyte 5. It's really highly rated plus from my experience with Gigabyte they have no issues. Also switch that processor to 4690k 0.1 ghz faster and stays cooler. Also it's the same price.

I'd recommend any of the ROG series boards, especially the VI Hero, which is probably one of the best z87 boards , Gigabyte do z87 G Sniper boars also

Thanks for the info. Would yall have different choices of motherboards if I plan on never using the OC?

Asus have the M Power series, dedicated to OC'ing, but a bit more expensive :/

oops didn't read the question :') Yeah if you don't plan to OC don't get a k version of the chip but the board recommendations would still be the same

Was looking at the Asus Z97-A or a Gigabyte Ultra Durable

You don't need to look at z97 boards cause you have a i5 5670k, it's a z87 chip

Go with the mobos on my first post then. They are all great motherboards. Again if your not overclocking you do not need the k version of the 4670 just get the non k version. But if you want a really good mobo then go look at the ones on my first post. I'd recommend the G1 Sniper. But the other 2 are good as well
