Which is better graphics card for laptop, Nvidia GT 740 M or 820M?

i had approached a store for laptop for buying Asus x550 lc 160 with 740 M gfx card, they said they are not getting that now and instead a pricier laptop x550lc 082 is available. It has all the same configuration as that of the previous but the graphics card is 820M . So i wanted to know if 740 M is better than 820 M. google says 740M is better, but i dont understand the price hike then.

this is the comparison table. choose the gpu, 114 and 215 respectively, mark the benchmark you wish(avaliable) and hit the restrict button to get a direct comparison
