So I've read that you can run two separate cards having the lower performing one, as long as it gets 70% as much performance, the lower card can be a dedicated PhysX card.

So what I'm asking today is, is a 660 enough to run PhysX for a 680?

My 680 is the evga classified, the only 680 requiring 2x8pin, and my 660 is an evga SC, basically just a regular one.

My PSU is an evga 600w bronze.

So can I use a 660 for PhysX on my 680, and if so can I do it using my 600w PSU?

i would say you should get a better power supply if you going to do that.

and i have tried that with a 660 and my 780 and i don't really get that much more FPS like maybe around 5-10. i would say not to do it because you using less power and you don't have to change power supplys
