im building a gaming pc what motherboard should i get

Im getting a gpu-r9 290 a cpu-15-4690 and what motherboard should i get specificly fo gaming and not too expensive is the gigabyte z97x gaming 3 any good

Z97 series /X79 series(may costly) are meant for gaming,delivering high-performance and O.C ing.
Get any of these(would suggest to get the gaming 5):

There's absolutely no need for a z97 motherboard with a non-k processor, he can't overclock. Going with an h97 as Scremin34Egl said would be the best option.

Well, he can always change the processor. I fhe does not, let's say the Z97 provides more stability, multiple gpu's and much more than the H97 chipset and most of all ,the OP can afford a 4690. So, he can also afford a Z97 chipset motherboard.
