PC Hangs while gaming

Hi all, I am looking for a solution as my pc is having some problem. The problem is whenever I start a game, the game plays fine but after 5-10 mins the sound goes off and in just a few seconds after the sound goes off my pc freezes no reply to Windows button no reply to Ctrl + Alt + Del. Can anyone please tell me what should I do?

What game? This was happening to me the other day when I had an unstable GPU overclock.

I did I was using a Windows 7 Ultimate x86 edition now I use Windows Home Premium x86 edition and about thermal paste can you please tell me how to apply it, as I had never done it before..

The only option I use from AMD Overdrive is Manual Speed Control to 100% as per the Graphic Card heats upto 90-104 degrees topmost. ( Note this only happened once, when I was trying to play NFS Rivals and recently it played the game perfectly) Everyday the GPU Temp is 52 degrees and above when I start my pc and 75 degrees when playing any game for e.x.: League of Legends. I don't think this is such a high-end game which would cause my GPU overheat.
