I recently installed a card reader into my PC. It is acting very oddly and I was hoping for a bit of help here.
The reader has slots for CF1&2, SD, TF (MicroSD), xD, MS/MS Due and M2.
I have successfully used the CF and SD slots without any problem. The odd part is when I try to use the TF slot to read a MicroSD card. When the card is inserted, nothing happens... *BUT* if I put an empty MicroSD card adapter into the SD slot, the TF slot then suddenly shows the memory card.
The reader is connected to one of the mainboard USB headers. I don't think it's a USB issue, since the other slots seem to work fine.
Does this seem like something I can fix? Is there a "detect" pin on a MicroSD card that could be bent in the reader?
Any help is appreciated!
PS. PC is running Windows 7 Pro, 64bit with an AMD 6350 CPU on an Asus M5A88-M mainboard.
