Hello!

I've assembled new PC 6 months ago and back at the time I didn't get another cooler for cpu but I rather left it on Intel default one as I didn't have the need to OC or some other task that would push my cpu.

Now I would like to buy some good cooler, preferably Noctua one as I've learned they are somewhat most trusted and have a nice quality. I was aiming for NH-U14S, but now that I've looked into measures I am not sure it would fit. My questions are: does anyone have that cooler on gryphon or would you care to recommend me some other cooler(Noctua if possible) that would fit in 100%?

Here are system specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core
Mobo: Asus GRYPHON Z87 Micro ATX LGA1150
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
GPU: Asus Radeon R9280X-DC2T-3GD5
Case: Fractal Design Define Mini MicroATX Mini Tower (+3 R2 Silent fans)
PSU: XFX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX

What I mean are dimensions. As far as I know it should fit but I am afraid it might slightly interfere with RAM chips. I found this, and by looking into my case it fits my opinion...so RAM could be the problem.

I've measured it to be ~48mm deep, or 58mm down from mother board. In specifications I've found it to be 4.4cm deep as you can read it here.

@Rick Kraster as for overclocking I don't have the need now, but I don't see the reason why I wouldn't do it in the future when my cpu becomes older and needs higher...

On noctua site at NH-U14S specifications I've found warning for Asus Z87 Gryphon in which says that I should either put my GPU in 2nd PCI-E slot which is impossible since GPU is a bit longer and lower HDD cage can't be removed(nor do I want to alter the case with force...) and that it should be rotated, you can find it here.
