I am looking to upgrade my system soon and have a few question's

Current System

Haf X case
Corsair 1000w PSU
Intel I7 I7 3770K
8gb 2133Mhz Corsair Dominator Ram
Asus P8B Motherboard
XFX 7970 4gb Black Edition DD

1.Is it worth while upgrading will i see much of a difference ?

2.Im thinking of going for AMD,ATI 8core fx processor and an R9 290X card however i have read that i could crossfire my 7970 with a 280x what would be the best solution ?

3. Last but not least i currently run Windows 7 ultimate and was thinking of moving to Windows 8, I use my pc for gaming.

Solution
1. its all up to you if you want to upgrade or not its your money

2. no need to upgrade your cpu its a good cpu and you can always overclock it, i personally dont like crossfire/sli if it isn't watercooled because there is a problem that the cards are getting very hot, you can always sell your old gpu and get a better one.

3. that is something you should decide i personally would stay with windows 7

Thanks

I am looking at this just now and was unsure if the 290x will be worth getting or to keep the 7970 until the next generation of cards is out.
