Good afternoon,
I have a Virgin modem/wifi router, my pc is connected via Ethernet cable, and I have my laptop, phone and ipad connected via the wifi. All was well.
Yesterday, the Virgin service was temporarily down. I didn't realise it was a service fault to start with, and blamed the router, and started messing with it, before I contacted Virgin and found out it was all their fault. Then the service came back on, the PC connected back up and I was a happy bunny. However, I then realised that the wifi wasn't letting pages load on the other devices. All of them were showing good connection to the router, but no internet based services were functioning (apps, games, web etc).
I have tried turning everything off, leaving them 10 mins, then turning them on one by one. No joy.
Googled the problem, some people suggest resetting proxy addresses, router firewalls and the like, but I cant find a simple explanation on how to do any of that (and it will need to be simple...)
Hope you guys can help.
Regards,
Puns
