Hi guys,
I have a MSI G45 Z87, with the LAN port installed (Killer e2200 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20). I am currently subscribing to a 300MPBS ISP, running a CAT 7 cable from my Fibre Modem to my CPU. However, i am capped at 100MBPS. i was told by my ISP that the Fibre Modem (ONT) had 4 gigybyte slots. Any help would be appreciated =)

The problem is most likely the "Killer Network Suite" which is known to be buggy. Go to this page and D/L and run the "Killer Cleaner" to uninstall all Killer software and drivers: http://www.qca.qualcomm.com/resources/driverdownloads/

Then go back to the Killer drivers page (above) and D/L and install the drivers ONLY for your particular Killer NIC. Reboot and try it out, test your speeds.

Thanks for the answers I7 and Yogi. I have removed and re install the drivers. However, under my speed and duplex, i still only have a maximum of 100 Mbps. The LAN for the MSI G45 Z87 should be a gigybyte port if i'm not mistaken?

Thanks I7, think i'll do as you suggest and fix in another LAN card. It'll save me alot of trouble for $20 lol.

Hi I7, i purchased a USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet NIC Network Adapter in replacement of the Lan port on my mobo. However, when i try to set it to 1GB full duplex, it loses connection with my modem. Or should i just purchase another Lan card?
