Hey guys, I'm building a system for a family member and I was wondering what is the best am3+ motherboard I can get for around 70-80 pounds. It'll mostly be used for gaming so 2 PCI-E slots minimum in case they decide to get a second gpu.
Thanks :)

The Extreme 3 isn't very nice either - but it'll do. There's not many good 990fx mobos in the uk.

i would surely also suggest the gigabyte if it was within the budget but it isnt. GA-970A-UD3P would also be a great option but since he might use multi gpu an 990fx chipset fits better.

This is a bit of a different question but, If I buy a motherboard and use the ram and hard drive from there old PC will the copy of windows still be activated or will I need to buy a new licence because I have changed so much of the computer?

So i'll need to buy a new windows license on top of the price for the other components?

depends on the lisence you have. retail windows version can be installed as many times as you want oo as many systems as you want, as long as it is installed and usable on one machine at a time. if you have an oem version you will have to buy a new licence!
