Currently building a new gaming rig, in a budget. Was just about to purchase the msi r9 270x 2GB from scan for £137. But when I searched for it the r9 270 4GB also came up,@ £160. Would I see the difference in fashion and benchmarks if I got the 4gb? Expecially if it's only £30 more!

Amd athlon x4 760 3.9ghz
msi a88x g45 - gaming
8gb corsair vengeance pro ram @1866
550w xfx pau
Cheers.

well for the price i would get the R9 270x but if you would like you could get the r9 270 4GB and overclock it to the speed of the R9 270x

i would say go with the R9 270x and use the $30 on something other thing in your computer

I would buy the MSI card. Just got the msi 270x, the short mini itx model from their gaming series line. I will probably always buy msi cards and also motherboards from now on since seeing how well built it is. I got a 750ti from evga first then a 260x from xfx then returned to get the 270x msi. Neither of those other 2 cards felt even close to being as well built as the msi. when I opened the package the box itself was the nicest box i have ever seen a computer part in. the evga card felt light and like it was a lot of plastic that would break and the xfx seemed solid but the msi just had another level to it. it's hard to describe, but you know how you can tell when something is just better than any of the others when you see and feel it.
