I am trying to install Windows 8.1 in a computer with Windows 7 Ultimate. I created the usb bootable... I went thru the bios and realized I have not usb boot option. Checking in forums I found I can go to the option HDD groups and inside should be showing my pendrive. It was. I selected the option with my pendrive name, save the changes, exit and when I am booting again appears constantly booting from the hard disk and not from the usb pendrive.
What can I do?

Solution
The ideal way is to go into BIOS and change the boot priority. Change the first boot device to USB device and assign the HDD to second boot device and see if it works.
Else you can keep pressing F10 (This will change from vendor to vendor. Do a trial and error method to find your corresponding key), and from the box that appears select the boot device as USB device.

I don't have usb boot priority. So, I changed my 1st boot priority to HDD group and inside HDD group I selected my usb pendrive that appear into HDD group. So, my 1st boot priority appears with HDD group but with my pendrive selected. Saved changes and exit. When the machine is rebooting, starts again with the hard disk and not with the pendrive....
