Hello I plan on upgrading my gpu.I currently have amd a-10 7850k integrated graphics.I have windows 7 64-bit.The card I am upgrading to is a Assus r7 265 2gb ddr5.Do I need to remove the drivers before I put the new card in or is it ok to keep the old ones. And if I have to remove it how do I and what will it be like after I put the new card in before I install its drivers

Will the bios automatically do it

Yes.

1) Uninstall the drivers (add/remove)

2) Shut down, install the card and move the monitor to the card (usually DVI). Attach any power cables such as a 6-pin connector as needed.

3) Start up, go to AMD's main site and find the correct drivers (can use the "AUTO DETECT" method if you wish). Download, then install.

Other:
Not sure what you mean "what will it be like", however the RESOLUTION is probably going to be lower than what you want when the main drivers are removed until you install the new ones. No big deal.

I'm not 100% certain if you need to do anything in the motherboard BIOS such as disabling any graphics, or changing the detection method for addon graphics. I highly DOUBT it. If you can see anything on the screen after booting to the new card (with monitor attached) then things are working fine.

My motherboard is GA-F2A88XM-D3H

Recommended card: Asus R9-270
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-video-card-r9270dc2oc2gd5

The Asus R9-270 is about the same price right now (after rebate it's $151) as the R9-265 and the Asus model overclocks well (about 1100MHz) thus it makes no sense to get the R9-265:

*FREE GAMES:
The R9-270 also has two free game codes (the SILVER list). Narrow it down then look at current Steam prices if you want. For example, "Sniper Elite III" and "Tomb Raider".

Other stuff:
1) You can read your motherboard manual if you want under any VIDEO or GRAPHICS sections to see what it says but I doubt there's a need.

2) I recommend updating your BIOS if you haven't done so (not for the graphics card, just to ensure stability):

3) run MEMTEST at some point to ensure it's stable. www.memtest.org (Boot Order in the BIOS needs the DVD or USB drive as applicable to be first, then your Windows drive second otherwise it just boots straight to Windows. Run a FULL PASS which is roughly 30 minutes for 8GB. This test the DDR3 memory sticks.)

4) Also, update your audio, chipset, and network drivers:

I am only able to update every thing on this list except for the bios or run the memtest because I do not have a disk or usb of some sort
