How many watts will my system need for its PSU? Will probably be overclocking a 780 ti. First build!

Hello. Someone brought up a little concern for me when I was looking at PSUs. I figured that a 620-650w psu would be fine but they recommended 750w under the concern that my system would fail. Here's my current build:

Any big case will be loud. That how is works.

I recommend the HAF922, Corsair 400r, NZXT Phantom 410. All VERY high quality cases and all have good airflow and all the features you could want.

Your build is not big enough to warrant a full tower. For a first time builder, I do not recommend a full tower case. It is WAY bigger than you think. Look at your desk. That is how tall the case will be standing on the ground.

What would be a mid-tower case with great airflow that doesn't go beyond that price point? That's my main concern. I chose that one because it has some really good features, what seems like great airflow and very nice cable management. I'm new to building though so this is my first case. What makes it noisy?

Size has nothing to do with noise levels. It has to do with the type of fan (some are quieter than others), the speed your fans are running at, design of the case, where you sit in relation to the case, vibrations that make their way into the case (such as HDD or fans making the case vibrate). In fact larger cases are often quieter as you can use large slower spinning fans and still get good airflow.

That being said I agree that you shouldn't bother with a full tower case. They are a lot larger than you'll expect, they are a pain in the ass if you have to move them and due to their size they won't fit in a lot of desks.

The cases that tiny voices suggested are all very good cases. If you want something cheaper the Corsair 200R and 300R are excellent budget cases.

If you're getting something around the $100 mark, my personal favourite is the NZXT H440. It doesn't have space for an optical drive (but how often do you use them anyway?), it has great airflow, packed with noise deadening material so it's about as quiet as your going to get and good cable management options.
